We are a small family business located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our goal is to bring you truly all natural soaps and bath products that are beneficial to the skin; providing therapeutic properties of the plants they are made from to enhance the natural beauty of your skin.

The creation of soaps and creams started as a family hobby in 2001. We wanted to make high quality, environmentally friendly, all natural products for our personal use. We did lots of research, and started experimenting with our own recipes.

The response from family, friends, co-workers and neighbors was overwhelming. Many suggested that we try packaging and selling our products at local festivals and markets so others could experience what our family and friends were experiencing. We took their advice and Good Soapworks of Athens, LLC was officially formed early in 2003.

We try to run our business in an environmentally friendly way. Our products are 100% biodegradable, cruelty free, minimally packaged and do not contain harmful synthetic fragrance oils, preservatives, petroleum products, FD&C colorants or dyes, phthalates, sodium laural or laureth sulfates, or other toxic chemicals. We re-use the boxes and packaging materials our supplies come in and we water our house plants with the water collected from dehumidifiers in our soap curing room.

We are very proud of our hand crafted products; and offer a wide range of all natural soaps along with other creative bath products that are a pleasure to use. We are confident you will see, feel, and smell the difference.
